Another One Crosses the Finish Line

18 Apr

I’m home today. Last night was a rather sleepless night of worrying about children and grandchildren. There isn’t much I can do but think good thoughts on their behalf. At any rate, with today’s mail came postcard #4. That was definitely a bright spot!

This one made it’s way here from the Moscow region of Russia in 18 days and travelled a distance of just over 8,000 km. Elena added a lovely note and 6 interesting stamps. If this keeps up, I may have to get back into stamp collecting!

Front of the card:

The Admiralty

And the back:

I wonder where the next card will come from.

Stats:

  • Cards received: 4
  • Distance travelled: 25,749 km (16,000 miles)
  • Countries represented: 4 (Finland, USA, Ukraine, Russia)
